Nadya Suleman, age 33, is the mother of the octuplets born in California, on January 26, 2009. Nadya Suleman's mother, Angela Suleman spoke to the media about her eight new grandchildren and revealed that Nadya, who is divorced and has six chidren at home, had undergone fertility treatments.12

According to news reports, Suleman's parents have financial problems; the octuplets are all preemies and will require special treatment. She has hired an agent; and reportedly plans to make money through paid TV interviews or working as a on-air childcare expert.3 Suleman mentioned to media that she wants $2 million to be interviewed by either Diane Sawyer or Oprah Winfrey.4
